The ground screw is included in the scope of delivery of the Junkers Ju 52. However, we have noticed that many customers use other methods to set up the large Junkers (e.g. pipe clamps, cable ties, parasol stands). Therefore, for the XL fliers (i.e. XL Piper, XL Corsair, XL Mustang P-51) we decided to offer the ground screw separately. Now the customer can choose how to set up his XL windmill.

The models of the XL wind turbine series have weights of around 3 kg, and when placed on a 1.40 m high pole, secure anchoring is absolutely necessary. If the customer intends to set up the wind turbine in the ground, the ground screw is a good choice. The handling is very simple. The screw can be easily screwed into the ground using a foldable lever. The screw-in depth should be at least 20 cm. The upright tube can then be centered using a clamping screw.
