‘I want to be a firefighter!’ is a phase that everyone goes through with boys. Quite a few consistently pull this through life, whether full-time or in rescue work with a voluntary fire brigade. What they all have in common, however, is their enthusiasm for the technology used, especially the emergency vehicles with flashing lights, sirens and turntable ladders.
As a wind spinner for garden or balcony decoration, a proper fire engine should of course not be missing. Hence the Magirus-Deutz F 150 D 10 emergency vehicle with turntable ladder DL30 from the 1960s was chosen as prototype.
Using the illustrated assembly instructions, the wind wheel vehicle can be assembled and set up within a few minutes. The aluminum pole is included in the scope of delivery. It is attached to the balcony railing using cable ties, for example or alternatively the vehicle can simply be plugged into the garden floor with the rod.
After the uncomplicated assembly, nothing stands in the way of enjoying the vintage fire engine as a garden wind turbine. A photo-realistic print on the stainless steel sheet ensures a high level of detail. The use of ball bearings for the propeller and the pivot bearing ensure low-friction connections that start to turn even with little wind. Whether children or adults who are young at heart, the red fire engine moves in the wind and there is always joy.
The special garden decoration is of course ideal as a gift for all firefighters or fans of red fire engines.
